Sure, the GOAL is for an amp just to 'amplify' . But than you have speakers that are anything But resistive. Most amps do well into resistors, but once you have a 'real' speaker which ACTS like a Capacitor or Inductor, depending on frequency, then you've got problems.
Not only are amps different in the way they respond to a reactive load, but differ at various impedance 'levels' too.
Bottom line? Amps Can and DO sound different, depending on the load they are presented with and the ability to drive such loads.

...Except I've never heard an amp that hasn't colored the signal! I don't think it exists. Agree 100%. So many amp designers use the word "neutral" when describing their amps but what does neutral mean? Are all those different amps neutral sounding? If so, why not buy the cheapest amp claimed to be neutral?

Garbulky you're right you said about the the difference between Gen1 vs Gen2. I didn't change anything like my source, speaker cable, interconnect, etc. And I didn't move my speaker position and it's already toe in.
The other thing that I noticed that the gen 2 vs gen 1, the gen 1 was a bit more aggressive while the gen 2 was more neutral. What that means is that the gen 1 may come off having (slightly) more compressed sounding punchy bass/fullness.

Try changing the toe in by slight amounts and also play with speaker position like the distance between the two. And pull speakers slightly forward away from rear walls. U may find a position where it sounds really good.
