Merry Christmas. I appreciate any assistance anyone could give.
I have a Emotiva UMC200 I am setting up in another room for 5 channel playback.
Need help with the 5.1 channel main outputs. The great detailed manual say #10 page 12 " connect these outputs to the inputs on the amp" duh.
From left to right please explain the SR FR meanings etc....... I wiill be using ALL RCA. Explain where each one goes. I am having trouble
Thanks

"SR" == "Surround Right" "FR" == "Front Right" etc. Casey Hmm - I've always thought that the left/right designation comes first: RF = Right Front, LF = Left Front etc. And CC = Center Channel. At any rate the UMC-200 has the preamp out jacks labeled as '7.1 Channel Main Outputs' according to the manual. The representation (drawing) of the back panel doesn't even show the silkscreen lettering on the back panel. Hard to ignore such important details that have been left out of the manual. Even manufacturers trying to sell $300 AVRs do better than that! If you look on the back panel of your UMC-200 you should see the lettering. And I bet the right front output jack will be lettered 'RF'. That connects to the amp channel that goes to the right front speaker. And ditto for the rest.

I have a pdf of the manual at its clearly mark, as well as good markings on the back of the unit. Ive found by setting to direct 3/2 LFE SOUNDS great 👍

I must have an early edition of the manual. It shows nothing of the graphics that are silkscreened onto the rear panel.
