So I'm a week old on the dual sub... just added the second a week ago. Finally got around to running a REW graph and was thinking what mode do you run the dual subs in?
Stereo is where I have it and I didn't know that the left channel front/rear uses just the left sub... same for right only uses right sub while center uses both subs.
Dual mono would be both all the time and all speakers low frequency goes to both.
Which to you prefer?

I have my pair of Rythmik F12SEs time aligned and EQ with REW in a miniDSP 2x4 HD before showing them as one to the XMC-1. Then I ran Dirac and got much better results than using Stereo or Dual Mono. If you don't have a miniDSP then go with Dual Mono. Just my 2 cents.

I'm running in duel mode as well. I used stereo mode for a while and so far I prefer mono. Is there a right or wrong to this?

I'm doing something similar to enricolaudio. Dirac doesn't manage both subs simultaneously. I've found that managing them all with miniDSP and then presenting them to the XMC as dual mono subs works best. I have Speaker Preset 1 setup where I'm running stereo subs (left and right) (for Reference Direct mode) and I have Speaker Preset 2 setup as dual mono subs without room correction. When I'm listening to music, I don't use Dirac, I've found that it has a hard time dealing with my open back mids.

EQ with REW and a MiniDSP and run them in stereo.

I time align and level match my DBA with an external DSP and then run it in Mono for DIRAC - works best for me.

I use dual mono, I tried stereo for a while but I prefer dual mono.

No right or wrong, just personal preference after the setup.
Might want to try “small” on the mains together with stereo settings on the subs. For greater accuracy depending on source material.

I have my two SVS SB-1000 Subs placed symmetrically to my MLP and are configured in Stereo mode with an 80 Hz crossover frequency from all five of my main speakers. I tried them in mono mode, but I thought the imaging and soundstage sounded better in stereo mode. My system is used for movies, TV broadcasts, and music equally. I prefer clean, tight, accurate, and musical bass with a deep and wide soundstage. I'm very satisfied with the sound in my current 5.2 system. I am considering getting an RMC-1 when it becomes available, but I want to see some detailed test reports before I make that purchase.
