So now that the V3 HDMI Board upgrade thread was locked down, how are we getting the weekly updates that were promised on the 03/09/2018 podcast? Did I miss the first update? I ask because it's the 19th already... Admin and moderators can post in locked threads. Because I stickied the thread that Dan started he can easily find it at the top of the page and update it when he has something to tell us. |

Count me as excited to get the updated XMC-1.
I actually bought a laptop (only had a tower pc previously) to tweak with Dirac.
I Realize many of you don't have the luxury to wait.
But as long as my old UMC-1 keeps chugging along, I'm content to wait it out... and continue to save.

I would just like to ask that we don't bring the HDMI V3 conversation here. This thread is for the XMC-1 Gen 3, not upgrades for the XMC-1 Gen 2. Of course conversations comparing the 2 units etc are fine. But specifically talking about the HDMI V3 upgrade doesn't really belong here.

No one is using the technology we're using, so it's going to really shake up the industry. Wish we could share more, but we can't. RMC is progressing nicely; it will really be an amazing product like no other out there when it's out there. Our amps - what can we say? They continue to sell faster than we can make them.
