I'll note that none of the millions of little devices need 30-60 seconds before the NIC works. 😂😂😂😂

I think the next evolution would be a more intelligent alexa. One that can remember what you were talking about or your past patterns and just do things for you. Part of it would need to recognize where you are in the house at all times. It could probably guess using sound cues. Then it can then turn lights on and off for you without you having to tell it to do so. They've already made some rudimentary improvements to pattern recognition. But it is a long way from being useful.
