Luckily you got to it before it got frozen. Lucky a bear or moose did not attack it like the moose did in the Farmers Insurance commercial.

Thats exactly right , good thing your pointed that out you can never tell where a moose or any wildlife is up here.Buts its ok if that happened since we do carry that sort of insurance here.

In Canada when you see a moose or bear trying to take your Emotiva goodies off your step...

I keep mine by the door. My tenant has an arsenal, no moose is safe up here. If we cant shoot them we hit them on the hwy with our car.

Moose jokes aside, how does it sound? Ok one more, eat moose 12000 wolves cant be wrong. Any way , its still in its box acclimatizing after its long cold journey to the GWN . I will go down after dinner and give it an inspection but will not be using it right away since this is just phase 1. Speakers are next which i haven't settled on since it could cost upwards of 1200 bux if i stay with the same brand as my other speakers and thats phase 2. The ATMOS board is phase 3, god only knows when that will happen. 800 watts for ceiling speakers may be a bit of overkill but im good with that. I also have to make up some more XLR cables ,run wire etc.

No siganature required and they left a $2500 piece of electronics on my driveway My most expensive deliveries are almost always just left at my door but if I get something that only cost a couple bucks they never leave those and put the attempted delivery note on my door.

So i unboxed the amp tonite and it has its own birth certificate. Every things lights up properly, the self test is much slower than the XPA 5 gen 2 . I will test this weekend when i have more time and ambition. The plug in is on the right instead of the left so i need a right angle power cord since it runs into my stand. It is considerably lighter than the XPA 5 but it looks sexier than the 5. Sorry bout the pics, my phone got a beating the other day and the replacement doesnt take good pictures at all so i used my digital cam which is older and just doesnt take great pics either.

The center in the pic is homebuilt using Axiom drivers and the rest is M80's ,QS'8s and M2's and the subs are SDX 10's drivers that are home built using 2 passive radiators in homebuilt cabinets. I removed all the vinyl from the speakers and applied real wood veneer.

Silly question, but is your Gen 3 the same height as your XPA-5 and do you have the feet installed on it? I’m looking at maybe getting a Gen3 but it can’t be any taller than my current Gen 2 XPA 5
