Different listeners prefer different sound. I've read reviews that praised the Sabre DACs for their "detailed and revealing" sound. And yet others find the exact same device to be harsh and glaring. You pays your money, you takes your choice.

You pays your money, you takes your choice. My bill for my Oppo 105 was detailed...and the sound revealing a harsh but somewhat nutty note. My Geek, to the contrary, is revealing and detailed w/o being harsh. (And after its last service - it appears its gremlins have gone away. Knocking on wood now!!!) Mark |
