I can say I'd take my five figures worth of money elsewhere - in fact, it'd be even more likely I would than with a four figure stereo amplifier. If you're going to draw an analogy, at least have it be of the same caliber - otherwise there's no point in posting it. Certain things are worth waiting for,... "Good things come to those who wait" Sure...when it's like a job, or an acceptance letter. If you purchased an item and were told that you'd receive an item on a specific day or in a time frame, one would expect it then. A delay, perhaps is understandable if there's some kind of unforeseen circumstances. Two? That's getting shady. That being said, I don't believe that this is an Emotiva thing. Sounds like a third party, and the OP posting and running gives me that impression (clearly a guest, so I doubt he'll ever be back here). If it is Emotiva...the OP has every right to be angry - I would be too. |

Every amplifier I own is an Emotiva amp (and I own 5 of them). I standardized on Emotiva for my electronics as I don't know of anyone else offering this quality at this price. Had the occasional issue which Emotiva has always resolved, occasionally had to wait a while for a delivery. What else can I say but patience will be well rewarded.

Did OP order direct from Emo? I ask because I ordered a DR-2 from a reseller and it took me about six weeks to get it, but if went direct through Emo I could have had it in a few days.

I'm curious as to how you'd respond if you ordered a brand new Corvette Z06 ,or a new Dodge Demon Hell cat and your order got pushed back twice , would you stop payment and purchase something else that was ready now & most likely japanese import ,or would you wait ? I don't think your giving enough consideration to exactly how small of a niche market Emotiva ,Krell ,Pass Labs ,Mcintosh really is ,at least Emotiva is communicating with him vs sending him to some call center in India where he is answered by somebody named Chupadora and you don't have a clue wtf their talking about . Why is this thread even still here ? Dan said it very plainly in his post before it was edited that this guy isn’t an actual customer. Just delete it or lock it and let’s talk about more important matters.

I ordered my amp at the dealer near me. It sounds as though I could have received it sooner by ordering it direct. I'll know for the next time. Thanks Jessica and Dan for that info. |

I'll know for the next time. Thanks Jessica and Dan for that info. Nothing wrong with supporting a local dealer, but if you go that route they will have tell you why you don’t have your amp yet. |

I ordered a Dr-3 and got it in just over a week from. Plan on hooking it up tomorrow am.
