Who said there were only 30? That was the minimum number of pre-orders to make the project viable, not the actual number of orders.

I'm shocked that no one on here isn't as disappointed as I am with this. I understand this is just a fun little item, but really? The entire project amounted to them sending this company an "E" logo and told to make X number of them. Emotiva received them, slapped some tape around it and mailed them off. Did anyone stopped to think "Gee, the people that are buying these are our CORE customers, maybe we should put SOME effort into this!" How hard would it have been to have Keith write up a fun little 1 page "manual" for it? Instead, we get Pet Toast. Ok...moving on... Perhaps... but considering only 30 people wanted this toaster, despite all the racket that was made in the Lounge making it sound like demand would be tremendous, how much time and cost should they have invested in this fun thing? Had they spent more time on it, I can just imagine all the howls from people asking why is a toaster more important than the upgrade board for the XMC-1. Or why does that come before the RMC-1, etc. Just the fact that Emo was good-natured enough to indulge the toaster inside joke of the Lounge ought to be appreciated. Don't forget, they did have a fun creative product page and they did a video as well so it isn't like they put zero effort in.

Who said there were only 30? That was the minimum number of pre-orders to make the project viable, not the actual number of orders. My mistake then. I hope there were more than 30 to make it worthwhile. But at least Emo indulged the Lounge members and actually produced a toaster, which goes along with the April Fool tricks they've done (like the 8 track player) and other "fun" things which is a whole lot more than pretty much any other audio company out there. My point is they shouldn't have invested TOO much time in something like that when they've got so many other serious things going on. (I know... someone will ask me, "what - you mean the toaster isn't a serious thing???")

Don’t get me wrong, I am happy that Emotiva had the toasters made and available to us members! Im just stating that it would have been so little more work to put it over the top. Greatful EmoToaster owner! 😁

I would have posted a picture but it looks like all the pictures already posted here. As for posting a picture of the toast, I couldn't since my grandson ate it shortly after it was toasted and buttered.

Got mine. Opened it. No time to toast anything or look at the directions. The Emotiva E is a piece of metal. It was loose in my package. Small toaster. IMO, not the highest quality build. Except for the novelty factor, I probably would not have bought it if I had seen it in person.

The toaster's existence is a testament to Emotiva as a company (and especially Dan Laufman as a person) having a sense of humor and of history. I don't care if mine works at all. it is the most cool thing any consumer electronics company has ever done, in my opinion. Thank you Emotiva family for remembering the joke FROM TEN YEARS AGO and for executing! Well done!

Seeing is believing, I still haven't seen a picture of toast made by anyone who purchased a toaster, ∴ it does not exist.

Ive found quicker start-up and warmer toast. 😋 LOL Im pretty sure mine is a Classe A toaster.

It makes "E" toast but also "3" toast, "M" toast, "W" toast and Umbrella toast.

I plan to incorporate my XBT-1 in my 2-channel system. It will look great on top of my Leben preamp.

My five year old grandson says it is not "E" toast, it is EAMON toast. Of course everything is made and designed just for him.
