Just caught from the Leaks Page. The up and coming Emotiva Mixer. Called the EMXR-500, it uses true AC servo quantum high torque motors with a full complementary power supply and true super feed forward feedback loop with titanuim bowl and hybrid attachments of a secret composite nature. Estimated relase in 2020. View AttachmentEstimated release in 2020? Isn't that a bit optimistic??  Actually it really is on schedule however this pending the results of the Beta testers feedback of course.😁🙃😁 |

If this is an April Fools joke it seems that it would not go as far as taking your money and address information. At least not from a reputable company such as Emotiva. I hope they get the 30 pre-orders so they have to think about producing them to keep their promise. wished we could tell how many people pre-ordered. From this thread is seems like they have at least five or six. That is 5 or 6 we possibly know about. Could be more that have not posted. |

I'm gonna hold out for the XBT-1 Gen 2 so I can do 4 slices at once. Unfortunately, it will probably only have 3 done-ness settings, instead of the 7.1 settings on the XBT-1. More but less, as usual. 😉🤐
Edit: I'd also like to see if silver trim or knobs will be made available. 😀

I really hope this opens the door for more whimsical devices too. I was one of the ones that really wanted that clock back in the day. If this is a success, I hope they revisit it! The clock was frickin AWESOME! The toaster is cool but I'd trade it for the clock in a heartbeat.Of course both would be even better.  |

Yeah I really wanted that clock as well. I asked at an EmoFest in years past, and it was either Dan or Lonnie told me the XPR faceplate is a pricey chunk of metal so for it go into production wasn't feasible. I'd guess an actual amount of orders would have needed to cross a certain threshold for them to even think about having a minimum amount made just to break even. Personally I would have bought one and pre-paid for it, but my guess is not many here would have actually "pre-paid" for a clock that was probably north of $250 or more. I was thinking that it was more like $150? Not cheap for a clock but not bad for a kick a$$ collectible that had some real world utility as well.Lonnie asked how many were truly interested but I don't remember anything beyond an informal question here in the lounge. |

Okay, now that xbt-1 is going live, might I suggest a couple of Emo -patented blue wings for the Gen 2 iteration ? These guys have done some sloppy preliminary R & D, which I am sure Emo can handily beat :  Just think of what could be: Emotiva XBT-1 Gen 2: The blue-winged, atmos-enabled, wireless blue-tooth controllable, quad-differential and fully balanced flying toaster!!! The ultra, ultra, high-end SOTA completely rethunk! Now that's something so worth waiting for that I'm thinking of passing on the Gen 1 today, although I might change my mind |

I think a few of us are bery disappointed in the fact that it has standard feet vs decoupling adjustable feet. Not even an isolation stand is offered! Outrageous I say. Power cable lifter? Its not mentioned at all, how can this be? 😋 I think Emotiva is sucking us in to purchase all of these accessories, thats where the BIG money is! 😲    |
