My amps are plugged into the CMX-2 and the rest of my gear into the CMX-6. As others have indicated, yes, you can plug the CMX-6 into the CMX-2.
If the MOVs are blown, no lights will be on at all... sorry, not sure what it means if all 3 are lit.

I wasn't asking for the purpose of being able to plug one into the other (something I would never do), but more for someone wanting to purchase one or the other. i.e. someone wants to buy a 6 and wants to plug his amps into it, but really shouldn't and needs to buy the 2, if what you say is correct. I bought a 6 a while back which I intend to plug some amps into (when the setup gets finished), so I have a particular interest in your reasoning. Apparently, both are rated for heavy loads, so either can be used for an amp. It's just that the CMX-2 with its DC offset correction is more ideal for an amp which has larger transformers more likely to be affected by DC offset. I thought tje CMX-2 was only for DC offset. CMX-6 was for power conditioning. Is that not the case?
