I've still got a UMC200 (I was going to go get the new MC700, but going via their new distributor means pricing is insane!)
I've only got two sources : Bluesound Nod e 2 (fixed volume) on analogue inputs and my TV via HDMI ARC. Amplifier is XPA5 Gen2.
The issue is the difference ! On the Bluesound, 50 is pretty damn loud - but using the TV ARC, I can take it to 70.
If I'm watching a movie at 70 and switch to Bluesound, I'll more than likely damage my speakers.
Is there a way to equalise these? My Onkyo had auto volumes levels in 2001.
Second thing, why would the difference be so great?

I do know that you can preset levels for each input, I just don’t know how to do it. Its in the manual for sure. I still haven’t set my UMC200 up completely yet. LOL If nobody has the answer a quick call to Emotiva should get you support.

Setup menu, Inputs, and adjust the input volume from each source. The available adjustment is + or - 10 db, so if you have to you can go 10 db down on the loudest source and 10 db up on the softest source.
Cheers Gary
