KeithL Do you still plan to fix the "display flicker" issue? It wasn´t there before the V3-board and is annoying... I just the XMC-1 exclusively dimmed to 0%. When I press "Info" I just want the display to appear shortly and not flicker and shift the coordinates where stuff is displayed slightly once during that period. This wasn´t the case with the older boards and is very distracting when it happens in your peripheral vision. I even sent your support videos showing that issue etc. but never got any clear response... I don´t want anything fancy, I just want this to behave as before with the older boards, which shouldn´t be hard to do. Still would like to get an update on this. Is the fix for this issue included in 5.15?

I have not had a chance to install it yet, probably this weekend; has anyone? Any issues?

I installed 5.15 on my XMC-1 w/ v3 HDMI this morning -- appears to fix Dolby Vision/HDR screen blinking issues with FIRESTICK 4k input!

During 2 days and the firmware update 5.15 for the XMC1v3, I found that my center speaker had lost in naturalness and depth in the timbre of the voices with a highlight of a sharp and slightly unpleasant sound.
It is the same for my listening to CDs in full analog (stereo reference) I just reinstalled the 5.14 firmware and everything is perfect I found the sound from my speakers
Have you noticed this problem?

cyyr05 -- I have not noticed any audio quality issues. One thing that has cropped up as I attempted to re-run DIRAC and may or may not be related: I can't get a network connection from the XMC-1 to my switch. I've tried an XMC-1 cold power down/up, different CAT5e cable, network switch, etc., but the XMC-1 Ethernet port just seems dead.

Turn off unit, flip the switch or unplug for at least 15 secs. Plug in or flip the switch back on allowing it to do whatever it does to do its initial startup. Give that 15 secs and then push the power button. Once I lose my network link light, I have to do this for it to come back. May be similar on the XMC.

Just tried that, no luck, next step reinstall old version of firmware and reset defaults? I must say though otherwise this new firmware is awesome on the XMC-1, Mrs. has not complained once this weekend about switching inputs and having missing video or things blinking when viewing HDR content.

Just installed 5.15. With my Sony XBR Z9D and no sound , The tv would say connected to audio system ARC/CEC but cannot transmit sound. I followed all the steps as usual . Tried several times ! It appears that the update is incompatible with the Sony. Went back to 5.14 and all is well. Tried calling emotiva yesterday but everyone was busy, left a message. It appears that Sony is a very difficult system to write code for.
Cheers

Same no sound issue for me with 5.15. I have been trying to rectify a loud pop through my fronts (xpa-2) and subsequent protect mode. I was hoping firmware might fix this but I had to roll back. On a hunch I turned off the triggers to the amps and no more popping or protection. I have not yet tried troubleshooting the trigger cable but this was a new symptom on my system that has not changed in for years besides the hdmi board.

Performed the 5.15 upgrade a few weeks ago. I’ve noticed an increase in issues with the inputs. For Apple TV, I have to switch to another input and then back to get any audio or video. The XMC-1 also locked up twice today. I’ll try another run through the upgrade. If that doesn’t help, I’ll go back to 5.14 which was pretty stable.

Do we know if there is another batch of boards being manufactured for the XMC-1 and what the expected availability date would be ?

I am still on 5.8 due to the reports here regarding the issues with 5.8. I only have occasionally sound but no picture and can fix this with changing inputs once.
