Can anyone verify what Color Bit Depth and Chroma Subsampling the XMC-1 puts out prior to installing the V3 HDMI upgrade board?
I only know that I was getting 8bit color, but I never looked at the chroma. With the V3 board, and while watching cable tv through the TiVo, I get 8bit 4:4:4. I gotta believe that the subsampling is much better than it was because the picture is a lot better than before the upgrade.

I never really paid much attention to it, so I don't know the answer, but it's not your imagination. I do believe that my TiVo (Mini 4K VOX) is displaying a pretty fabulous looking picture through the new board. I get my TV service through Verizon FiOS and it's never looked better.
