My tendency is to avoid EPray for electronics. Too Many horror stories to count, mostly stuff that was shipped 'in perfect condition' and arrived with some fault.....leading to endless hassles.

IMO? Craigslist 'local' may be better, if you are comfortable with someone coming over for an audition. Avoids shipping, too.

You could also either JOIN or FOUND an audio 'society' in your area. These guys are usually pretty good and I've some friends made with this method.

Audiogon works, but has changed a lot in the last decade. Canuk Audio Mart and the USA version are related and yet another way to find a home for your stuff.

I live in SD and while the city fathers would consider us a 'major metropolitan area', I know better. San Diego is the biggest small town I've ever been in. And $$$ for everything.
I'd prefer Boise which has good coffee shops, and real RECORD and CD stores, some attached to pretty good sized used book stores. Nice.
At least the Chargers finally went to haunt some other city and the Padres, are in a wonderful facility. Too bad they are playing really GOOD AAA ball.

Interestingly, both the listing for the ones on US Audiomart and Ebay are both from Florida and the cites listed, Margate and Hialeah are fairly close to each other.....

After living there for several years, from mid-HS to 2nd year college, I wouldn't buy a used Coconut from that place.

IMO, the whole state is a scam waiting to happen. Ask 'em if they take 2-party, post dated, out of state checks.

Could very well be a scam. The same pictures for for both ads. Same seller? Different locations listed. This could be interesting, though the Audiomart ad is fixed sales price and the Ebay one is auction....That makes me suspicious as hell. If he sells outright on Audiomart, he'll have to cancel the Ebay ad..Isn't there a  penalty for doing that? Well, the offer i made will probably not be accepted anyway...
