Its just because the "AD/DAC’s and Volume Controls" sub-head is incorrectly formatted as a bullet.

It also lists the ability to upgrade Firmware via the Management RJ45 Ethernet ... which would be awesome if it were true ... Perhaps they are just planning ahead so they don't have to be hassled with posting new firmware updates every 3 or 4 days for the first year. 😈 Okay okay I'm just teasing. Or am I? 😇

They update firmware every 3-4 days until they reach a point of functionality they seem to be happy with, then subsequent releases are far more drawn out. Latest examples would be the MC-700 and now the V3 board.

Respectfully. Why doesn't Emotiva release this information here at least simultaneously? I don't know, but they are a legitimate source. Meaning I highly doubt they made this up. Avsforum also released this info. They go on to say that Dirac live is applied to all 16 channels at 96kHz. Now just waiting on the XMC-1 replacement 😊.

Isn’t that associated with HDMI 2.1?

Short answer ; hdmi.org says maybe Find out soon enough with the promised end of month specs .. Q: Will the existing ARC-enabled products work with new products that use eARC? A: Maybe. Manufacturers can produce products that are compatible with both eARC and ARC. However, eARC is not defined to be backwards compatible with ARC.

Isn’t that associated with HDMI 2.1? eARC can be added to HDMI 2.0b on some later chipsets.

Have they already got atmos and DTS-X figured out? I think they will hit this release date or be close. After their post last week that they won't release any concrete info until they are sure of the timeline, they would look pretty bad if they were way off the November 15th press release date.

You’d think that target date would be for a sufficient number. I’d imagine worst case scenario they could release a more limited number in order to at least technically make the date.

Also posted on Home Theater Review, which was then quoted on the Emotiva Facebook Page. hometheaterreview.com/highly-anticipated-emotiva-rmc-1-16-channel-preamp-ships-in-november/I’d say they’ve pretty much committed to the 11/15 date, guessing they’d written the press release or given interviews when they did the podcast and wanted to let the media make the announcement. Very reasonable. The specs in these press releases will probably become the web page they announced.

Under their additional info links at the bottom of that page they discuss Dirac Live 2.0. More user friendly, speakers phase adjusted in pairs among a few other things.

I would hope that the website has more info than the press release, once its up on their site, and many, many, many more pictures! (for me to drool over, of course)

I am hoping they are not releasing this amazing unit with the same style of HEAVY remote that came with the XMC-1. That thing is not practical for normal use. I got a NEEO remote just to replace the stock remote that feels better to use and fits in your hand comfortably.

Hhmmm, the remote that a manufacturer offers isn't even remotely (sic) on the map as far as my concerns. Does anyone ever use manufacturer remotes anymore? I figured everyone just used one Universal Remote or another based on preferences. The only real use for the manufacturer remote is as a source for learning remote codes ...

Exactly, make it cheap but loaded with all kinds of direct hit options so learning remotes can have specific commands.
