I'm picking mine up tomorrow from UPS. I'll upload some pix.
Some interesting info from the forums;
From jnelson2000: "Dan emailed me direct this morning and let me relay what he conveyed. Adapters (XLR to RCA) are being fabricated and he expects them to be available after the new year as a courtesy. Meaning you will have to request them and will not be shipped as standard. Second, Dan also mentioned Dirac 2.0 will be available in the near future."
No Dirac out the box, but REW filters supported right now
Initial/cold boot, and startup up takes about 2 minutes. Future firmware should optimize this
With "power on always" start up is now NOT an issue
Settings can be backed up via USB

I started this one to hopefully contain more discussion on the machine itself, how it works, etc. The "in the wild" thread has relevant discussion, but its mostly about stuff other than the machine itself. I asked that only owners post here so we get first hand information. |

My RMC should be delivered Wednesday. For those of you who already have your unit, how do you assign the channels? I'm curious if I have three front, two pairs of side surrounds, one pair of rear surrounds and six overhead speakers how I assign those channels within the RMC menus. I was pretty easy with my Marantz 7704 and their GUI so I'm curious how Emotiva shows you the channels layout options.

Running a 4k copy of Equalizer with zero adjustments and man does it sound deep......this is one solid Pre/Pro....

Mine should be here Wednesday. I want some solid info from you owners. Is it all it's cracked up to be? I keep waiting for someone to have an 8805 or AVM60 to compare to the RMC1. Anyone?
