Two things....
1)
There are currently some issues with the manual PEQ filters not working in firmware v 1.9 . These will be fixed in the next firmware release.
2) In REW there is an option to select which device to output to (or something like that). There is no option for Emotiva RMC-1, but there is an option for Emotiva XMC-1, and the format of the filter files is the same. However, for many of the channels, you'll have to rename the resulting XML files, as well as edit the channel names INSIDE each file.
I don't know if this will be required for the sub channel or not. XML files are just text files so they can be edited with any text editor. (The easiest way to get the correct names is to export a set of filters and look at the files.)
Maybe someone can help me out here. I'm having trouble importing my REW subwoofer PEQ filter into the RMC. I've selected the XMC-1 EQ filter type in REW, however it is exporting a .req filter file which the RMC doesn't seem to like (I'm getting "Error:Read USB" when attempting to import the filter to the RMC). I'm assuming I need a .emo file type? How do I get that out of REW?? Thanks for any help, probably something obvious, but the documentation is rather lacking. Sorry Keith, I was reading from the bottom up and didn't see your post on this until after I responded with the same. 😂😂😂

Thanks Keith. I'm still on 1.8 and have used this same USB stick to update firmware several times without a hiccup. In REW I selected the XMC-1 as the EQ filter type, but it still outputs a ".req" file, not a ".emo" file. I even opened the REW-generated .req file and it doesn't look like the .xml files I've manipulated in the past (non-audio related files). Is there any other way to adjust my extreme room gain on the low end to smooth out my dual 24" sub response until Dirac drops? My wife says the bass is making her nauseous and she's in the kitchen above the theater room LOL... As an example, REW is telling me that I need to cut 16db @ 36Hz even with a healthy bass-heavy house curve! Two things....

You are possibly copying the wrong file.. There's a "save coefficients" And some other option. I can't recall which it is off the top of my head, but one will work. It will need to be a .emo file so change it if needed. Secondly, you will probably need to change the filename and the section inside the file containing the speaker name. I don't think rew lets you save a center or left/right sub.. So, even if you export, the RMC won't know how to import because the name, along with the section inside the "xml looking" file will be wrong. Change both of these to be the correct name. If in doubt, export your existing filters and view the files.. It will make sense. Lastly, unless something changed, sub eqs don't work currently so none of this matters too much until they do. 😊 From the EQ Filters window of REW I have XMC-1 showing and I'm selecting "Save this filter set". This move prompts me on where to save the .req filter set file. Keep in mind this is my first time working with REW and the filter section of the RMC-1, but it seems that either I'm missing something or there is something fundamentally flawed with the process. I'll try posting on the REW forum to see if there have been other's experiencing the same

So I went back in to REW and figured out that you have to use "Save filter settings to file" under the Filter Tasks menu, not the "Save this filter set" in the EQ Filters window (the tutorial I was following had me using the later method).
Trying to load the PEQ file to the RMC now!

Again, off the top of my head, on the right hand side where you can set your targets and such... There is one or two buttons you can use to save the settings. One of them gives you an xml file you will need to rename as an emo file. The filters you can save inside the area that shows you each filter... That's for something else.

For anyone trying to do the same, I'm running my subs off the center sub output in mono mode and changed the speaker name in the REW filter xml file to "centerSubwoofer" and it loaded into the RMC just fine.

This sounds correct. In response to "it doesn't work", the filters will load, but not actually do anything. After you have imported the filters into the RMC, pull a new measurement and see if there is any noticeable change in response.

Did you test your results after? The filters don’t do anything. Go to 50hz and put a massive dip in there on purpose and measure... nothing changes.

Can anyone tell me when we will be getting dirac live for our units? I have all my atmos speakers and just added the 2 wide speakers and now want to calibrate the room.

Thanks for the link and thanks to Keith for that update. Wishing it was coming sooner while we're locked down here, but supply chain logistics have to be nearly impossible to coordinate due to the virus.

I have a question re: subwoofer management. If one has multiple subs hooked up to the RMC-1 with each sub having it's own dedicated input, can the RMC-1 be configured so each sub has it's own hi and low pass filters and delay? I ask because I want my LCR to be 120Hz and up, my MBMs to be 60-120Hz, my IB subs to be 60Hz and below and my NFS to be 80Hz and below. In this case I would expect the LCR to be set to small. Both the MBMs and IBs would be considered subwoofers, it's just that one would get 60-120Hz content and the other would get the sub 60Hz content while being protected from the crazy ULF with a 3Hz high pass filter. Lastly, can the slope of the hi and low pass filters be individually set to maximize integration? Oh and one last thing, does anyone know if these settings will be maintained with DIRAC once it is released (Maybe with DIRACs bass management system)? I'm asking because I like the idea of getting one of the expansion modules so I can have a 9.4.6 system without requiring the use of a MiniDSP unit. If the MiniDSP is required, I might as well get a XMC-2.

I did notice that if Left/Right Sub are set to Mono instead of Dual Mono, the signal seems to only output on the Left Sub. It would be nice to be able to set the Left/Right sube independently, and set them to LFE or Mono/Dual Mono. I've got 2 subs and seat shakers, and it would be nice to have fine tune controls of what gets what.

We actually have a Setup App for the XMC-1 that lets you enter all the information and then "dump" it into the unit all at once. (I'm sure we'll be updating that for the RMC-1 as well.) Has there been any progress on updating this App for the RMC-1 and releasing it?
