If you are looking at Most Recent Posts you won't see anything wrong. If you click into any categories it turns to a big mess Hence why I have not one single issue. I never search by forum, only by "NEWEST THREADS".

I think this is a proboards issue. It seems to be very wonky.

Doesn't appear that anyone gives a crap how well this forum runs. I've never seen anything like it. We've been investigating and this appears to be a proboards issue and has been escalated to them. Wish I had a magic wand to make it go away but life doesn't work like that. But to say nobody gives a crap is not correct. Perception is reality. And the reality is it appears that nothing is being done. This place has always been something of a circus anyway. Outdated sticky threads weigh down the first page of nearly every sub-forum. Nobody seems to be cleaning up their own crap. Actually I don't miss those sticky threads.

Wonkieness confirmed. I love reading the RMC-1 thread from the Green Room....along with Emporium threads. Damn near unuasable the way I do it.
I hate change!

There is definitely something going on.
Unfortunately, while we control the content and the posts on the forum, and even the visible structure, ProBoards itself is managed by ProBoards. Therefore, if there is a database issue, which this seems like, then they must fix it.

I guess I don't understand why people who come here everyday for a bit of entertainment don't use the "NEWEST THREADS" search option. Its the best way to keep up to speed on what's going on. Searching by forum folder is for looking up something specific. Do people coming here everyday look up something specific everyday? I get it if you check in on a particular topic once a month, but everyday? This forum doesn't run fast like AVS or something like the Corvette Forum, so using the newest thread thing keeps it all covered.

It took me like 6 months to realize that there was a Newest Threads link. Now its all I use, unless I am creating a topic.

It makes things difficult when you are trying to look for stuff for sale in the classifieds, for one thing. Everyone’s experience is different. I was shocked it took so long for a post like this to show up, since it was wonky since at least the 31st.

I guess since I typically "check in" several times a week, even using the "newest threads" catches the things that have gone up for sale. The only time I go to look at things by forum is when I'm trying to find something old that I want to find. Even then I more often use the search feature. I think your shock might be because many/most must be using the newest thead feature like me. Otherwise there would be 50 pages of thread by now.

Reading them often saves time re-reading what ends up being said in the newest. LOL! Mark

Not everybody searches by Newest Threads.
I'm exclusively interested in Amplifiers > BasX and preamps and also Digital Audio...
