Believe you've just let the cat out of the bag.... : ) .....Good timing.... just logged on looking for a replacement for my UMC-1 and the IOTAVX 7.1 looked like a candidate for a low profile AVP so the 700 might be it.

So anyone tried installing the IOTAVX FW?
Would be nice to get stuff that Emotiva has opted out to provide to its customers.

I bought a new MC-700 and there was firmware 3.1.3. After that I went to the Emotivа website and downloaded the latest firmware there. As it turned out later, it was version 2.9.3. Where can I get 3.1.3 now?

You want a low profile AVP? It seems that the money buys an awful lot of FRESH AIR with this PCB design in the IOTAVX/MC700! They could have made it a whole lot lower profile!

So is this one (3.1.3) available on the product page? I d/ld the file but it's showing up as a 2018 file.
I wonder what's new. I'd love to get rid of the popping noise on my apple TV.
