I am going to use the RSP-1 (beautiful piece by the way..im installing now) and my topping D-30 Dac for all my 2 channel music. I dont do home theater..just 2.1. quite pleased with the build on this beast. dont care how old it is or simple. love it. havnt heard it yet Oh in that case I think you'll do great with it! You should have been all over that deal; it was a great price for that unit. That way when you talk the talk, you can walk the walk.  |

I love the look of the piece as I do most Emotiva gear. But if I bought it, it would have been just to try it out for kicks, which is something I don't normally do. I'm looking towards an HD800S set of headphones right now.... |

But if I bought it, it would have been just to try it out for kicks, which is something I don't normally do. I'm looking towards an HD800S set of headphones right now.... Im currently investigating why im hearing a slight increase in one side. Its my speaker or Are your speakers bi amped? in that case one of the connections may have come undone. Or your speakers may be hooked out of phase. Or one of your speakers may be toed in slightly differently |

speakers are not biamped nor out of phase( I keep telling you that lol) . I listened some more last night. its not always evident so it may be just that particular cd. I am still investigating.
