That second picture is a rough acoustic challenge for the stellar front end he has. Clearly from the looks of the acoustic treatment on the front wall, he's tried. But that hard wood floor, narrow room, glass sidewalls, side couch - ouch! All coupled to equipment that could have just bought him a much nicer room. Nice room for headphones though.

As long as your head is above the chair, that’s my point. I agree 100% as I’ve found it difficult to find a seat back short enough for me. I’m vertically challenged ! Much taller on my back! LOL KEEP THE EARS FREE AND CLEAR MY FRIENDS,

I use a Collins Commander barber chair (I was very fortunate, didn't have to pay retail)

I get your point about the back not being too high, and that you like good aesthetics when it comes to speakers etc, but that chair you listed is a totally ugly office desk chair. No way that would be in my hifi 2 channel room. Yuck.
