Here's my main one: It's an Oracle , purchased in 1981 I think. It has a Magnepan Unitrac 1 carbon fiber tone arm. I've had lots of different cartridges installed in it over the years, currently it's a Shure V15 type V mr. Every so often I'll put in a Denon DL 103D moving coil. I always switch back to the Shure though.

Rega P2... Nagaoka MP-110 cartidge.. sounds very good.. Rega seems to be a very well built TT. Running the TT through XSP-1 gen1 preamp into XPA-2 gen3 amp.. to Klipsch RF-62 ii towers. I enjoy the sound. Lots of detail, the Klipsch horns are great, especially with jazz. Bought the Rega used at a good price. I became good friends with the seller and we get together often and spin vinyl. He's got a Rega P6 now which is a really nice TT as well. I grew up in the 60s an 70s playing vinyl and cassettes.. mostly rock.. I love playing vinyl.. brings back a lot of memories. There's a lot of enjoyment with owning a physical copy, taking care of it, and then the whole process of playing the vinyl. I love classic jazz too and have a decent collection on vinyl as well. I'm a huge Brubeck fan. I stream Tidal and play CDs. Nothing wrong with digital either.

I bought it from golden gramophone in Akron, Ohio. I loved that table but sold it when I got my VPI mk II with a Grado tonearm.

I loved that table but sold it when I got my VPI mk II with a Grado tonearm. My Oracle still works just fine after 38 years. I've also been very satisfied with the Magnepan tonearm's durability. I've lost track of all the cardridges I've used in it over the years, but I know I had a GAS sleeping beauty originally. I've liked the Shure V15's ...I had several of those of different vintages over the years. They were one of the few that could track the Telarc pressing of a Direct Digital recording of the 1812 Overture. That recording used real cannon blasts in the performance...the ones that you could see on the surface of the record where the grooves made some dramatic changes. That V15 type V plays that flawlessly, tracking at 1 gram in the Magnepan arm. I bought mine from Audio Emporium in Milwaukee, WI. They are still around and actually are an Emotiva dealer as well. I bought an XPA2 Gen III from them last year.

After all these years I still don't know how to attach a picture.
I am using a Rega P2 (Red) with the Rega Carbon cartridge. Its an enjoyable listen. I am debating going all in on a Hana EH, or just vivid line stylus for the Carbon. That being said, I do enjoy listening to the P2

After all these years I still don't know how to attach a picture. I'm not sure where the procedure is explained, but it's fairly easy. You must first upload the photo you want to post into an online photo sharing website. Then you copy and paste the url for the specific photo into the post where you want it to appear. The trick is that your url must be pasted between the "bracketed" img and /img.

here is a pic of my uturn audio table w/walnut base. here it is atop my TA-100 preamp playing my main speakers... and here is where it was supposed to go but I liked it so much , I kept it at home instead of taking it to the office.

I still have that same album. I even remember our high school choir recording with Telarc, before it was called Telarc and was still making local high school and college records as its main business. the introduction to digital tape recording changed all that and put that company on the map. I believe their first digital album was fredrick fennel doing band music with the brass, wind and percussion players from the Cleveland orchestra. I love these walks down memory lane. tchaik...............

VPI Classic 1 with Eden Sound Footers. Its an awesome TT but I understand the Prime which replaced this model outperforms it. It can be finicky to setup correctly though I wouldn't refer to it as a PINA with the Uni-Pivot tone arm IMO. I now have a SoundSmith Zephyr MIMC cartridge vs the standard Zephyr show in the photo. I also use a Bob's Devices SUT that feeds my Tubes4Hifi PH16 phono pre-amp that I built a couple of years ago. I also own the Emotiva XPS-1 phono stage which is really quite good as well as the AVA Vision phono pre-amp , but the PH-16 is in another league.
