More like an unboxing or presentation video. No measurements = no review for me. Still, nicely made and giving interested buyers some good general information.

Shane does a nice job for 95% of the people watching. He has a great presentation, it's informative, well lit, edited, and easy to watch. He makes things easy to understand, which is what the vast majority of people actually want/need, but yes, measurements would be nice.

I'll stick with my Sherbourne PA-350 (350 watts 7 channels).

He shouldn't be running his surrounds full range; they're not towers their bookshelves.

I was interested in his comments about the 8 "stereo" modules for surround use. If I understood correctly, his normal setup uses higher output amps for the surround/Atmos channels and he found those channels using the XPA-11 a little shallow in comparison. I've been considering selling my current amps and buying an XPA-11 instead. But this comment makes me think I might be disappointed with the XPA alternative.
Still favor buying another capable (~150 Watt/channel) 6 (or 7) channel amp for Atmos channels and I'd have the best of all worlds. Time will tell.....

But this comment makes me think I might be disappointed with the XPA alternative. It's a lot to ask of 1 power supply (especially if you run your surrounds full range) and really is meant to compete with an Atmos receiver.

Tell that to the manufacturer, it not only is designed to compete, it supposed to be superior in every way to a receiver. They both utilize one power supply.

Correct. I meant a receiver will have even more trouble powering that guys setup. Neither are going to be up to that task.

Reality of most online reviews are no measurements, so yeah they are impressions and thoughts on a product. Technically still a wrapped up nice and neat in the title "Review".
