I expect that when background noise is minimal, late in the evening just sitting around enjoying an adult beverage, it'll sound wonderful.
Trying for high SPL will stress everything and probably not what the speaker folks had in mind.
The balance would tip if you had been able to back the speakers up within a ocuple feet of a wall.
