"keep me out of some imaginary afterlife." While sitting here at Church camp, I felt this was a little unnecessary. Regardless of your beliefs no need to be disrespectful. So you're saying his tone was incendiary? Interesting.... No not at all.

My $30 from my BasX A-100 review was no way fueled by the money but more the performance and price ratio of the amp, the $30 did come in handy when i bought a second one haha. Chad got $30US? Of course, * now* he isn't complaining about the strength of the US dollar...

Hmmm. Life goes on when you leave town.
I do think Emotiva does a better job with incentivized reviews than most manufacturers. They were up front with soliciting reviews for Emotiva credit in their email sent 12/29/2018. The reviews are not from "A Customer", but people with real names (some actual lounge members) that are thoughtful and descriptive. If you look at their lightning rod product (the RMC-1), some reviews are less than stellar, revealing what customers might see as fatal flaws, so it's not a complete whitewash by any stretch.
But they do skew positive, and the downside is not knowing if negative reviews are discarded. And while negative reviews could tell you more about how many units are DOA or defective, they usually don't tell you much about the unit's performance, which is what customers want to know. So it's a sales tool, but I think Emotiva is more ethical than most in how they use it.

All of the "negative" star reviews go straight to our customer service team to see if there is anything we can do to make their experience better or see if there are any issues that we can assist with.

So you're saying his tone was incendiary? Interesting.... No not at all. Not incendiary, but dismissive, and that was my bad. I'm an atheist, but if you don't push your religion on me, I'm 100% all for whatever helps a human get through the days, both good and bad. Theoretical might have been a better word choice than Imaginary. Namaste.
