I've never heard or seen this brand before, but if you are in the market for a cool looking projector, this may be your ticket. Have NO CLUE if it's any good or how it performs, but it's inexpensive (as many projectors go), and it's way nicer looking than any other I've seen. Of course for those of you who know more about projectors, please post away if there are other options. I'm not in the market, but I'd still like to know what's out there. I've been using video projectors since 2011 and currently own 6 of them. This one is not too shabby..especially when compared to some of the absolute junk out there in cheap projectors. First of all, it states it's NATIVE resolution is 1080p. which means this one is true high definition. Lots of the cheap ones state they are "1080p compatible", which means pretty much nothing. It's the native resolution that counts. One thing that impressed me was that this projector uses a lens made of glass...that's unusual in any projector under a thousand bucks. Most are plastic. From some of the reviews it appears that the sellers of this projector had been exaggerating the brightness of it...by a TON. It currently says 700 Ansi Lumens. That sounds at least honest, although certainly not the brightest projector available for the price. It does have an LED light source, a big plus because that means you will never have to deal with a bulb replacement because it it was dimming too much with age or actually burned out. An LED light source should last the life of the projector, You can purchase Projectors now that are brighter, over 1500 ansi lumens, for about the same money as this one. I do have one older LED projector that is also 700 ansi lumens, that works just fine in a darkened room, but I bought that 6 years ago. It also uses a DLP projection method/system. That is a Texas Instruments development using a TI chip to create the image. That's a better and more expensive way to do it than the "3 lcd" method that just about all really cheap projectors use.

Yes, it's cool looking and compact. It would make a good 'traveling' projector for taking to the vacation resort (provided there is adequate WiFi).. One important feature is the smart software. There are some criticisms of the built in software, but you can always plug a Firetv stick into the HDMI input. I myself have a Nebula 2 which is even smaller, has an excellent smart tv built in interface, but is not as bright and only 720p. Still it is enjoyable in a darkened room.

Price to spec look really good, 30,000 hour illuminance- wow. Projectors were never my bag when bulbs were $400-500 & didn't last long. Unless one wanted 120" screen, why not a lcd flat monitor?. But $580 makes me rethink that idea, even if it only lasted 3 yrs. Most negative reviews are due to not using it as a projector only & not using a Pre/pro, receiver to do the signal switching.
Nice find, Bonzo!

I've been using LG led projectors, mounted on the ceiling of my media room. They project onto a 100 inch drop down screen. I used one for 4 years and the current one for the last 4. The current one has almost 5,000 hours on it, with no loss of brightness and still plenty of life left in it's 30,000 hour projected life. It's ansi brightness level is rated at 1500 lumens, which is plenty bright. I do darken the room when watching, but you'd want to do that with any projector.

Looks like a good thing, who ever wants it, make sure to look into return policy and to add warranty...

But $580 makes me rethink that idea, even if it only lasted 3 yrs. There are a lot of options for lower level projectors in the $600 range from Epson, Optoma, BenQ, and Viewsonic that I would take before this one. I wouldn't be so quick to pull the trigger. That is unless it *can* vacuum the floor, then I take it back as the above cannot..
