Love it, simple 2ch setups are just awesome, I bought my wife that exact TT about 13 years back, it's alright(Not really haha) but my U-Turn is much much better, if your into vinyl I suggest changing up tables, for not much money and you can have it built with certain cartridges and colors etc etc check out U-Turn Audio, they start at $179 uturnaudio.com/pages/turntablesI have the A-100 and it's an amazing little amp that isn't so little in sound. Cheers, Chad "simple"?!?! Take another look at that wiring!

Are you s'n me $4,120.00 ea?! I thought you guys were joking.
I spent $120 for 6' video RBG analogue cables ONCE and had to call my proctologist for help with my head.
Edit to clarify my position. Who knew 50w could be so demanding. I learn so much from you folks, thx.

Who knew 50w could be so demanding. I learn so much from you folks, thx. I did the same thing once (back in the eighties) for a one meter pair of "high end" analog cables.....and for around the same price. I considered the money to be an educational investment and in support of Peter...…(the salesman) at one of those stores that sold high end stuff. Very few of those places exist anywhere these days. Pete let me take all manner of gear home on consignment, so I could test for myself, to separate fact from fiction, even though in my heart, I knew the answers already. Pete was the ultimate, no pressure kind of guy who was caught in the middle of everything. Whenever I went there, the place was virtually empty, but the sales reps. for those suspect wires I bought, were at the store one day and I put real world, common sense questions to those guys. I don't recall the exact details, but it makes me think of the Star Trek manuals, that are used to create a "reality" for all the gadgets and Klingon vernacular. The bullshit was so thick......I couldn't take it anymore and grew weary of them doing anything and everything to avoid delivering a straight answer (that's the key to getting you to bend over and grab your ankles.) Emotiva T1 Emotiva Basx A-100 Tansparent MusicWave Utlra speaker cables Pro-ject Phono box preamp Dennon turntable Marantz 5disc CD Rel Strata III subwoofer Carver Power Line Conditioner Those attachments in the original post are HILARIOUS. Please don't take it personal......they make those weird wires (they look like "War of the Worlds" props (or something) appear larger than anything else in there. What's always forgotten...….speaker wiring has one purpose, and one purpose alone...…...to bridge that physical distance from loudspeaker to amplifier. Resistance matched, that's all that can be done to deliver the goods. Phase out, or too thin would be the only things that would change anything sonically. Bill

Wow really glad this forum is full of people that want to trash anothers setup. Yes the speaker cables were giving to me. the reason they are up front like that is to stay away from all the other connections in back plus room is limited in my room. If I stash them in back the pushes the table up another foot leaving less room for the speakers.

We could just skip all the tedious scientific details..... and wrap our speaker cables and interconnects in rolled $100 bills. (I'm sure it would make the sound "richer" .)
There is, of course, special tape that you must use.... It really makes a difference....
I could let you have a few rolls for only $299 each.
$300 amp $500 speakers $8000 (MSRP) speaker cables Its cute you all think cables don't matter, and must try and bring down other people's setup cause you don't agree with what they have. To think your an admin of this forum I'm sure that looks really good to others.

The Engineer in me is a FIRM believer in the "theory of diminishing returns": -Each noticeable "step-UP" in performance costs CONSIDERABLY more $$ than the previous step -Beyond a certain point, if your system, components, or room are less than optimal - it is not worth going beyond a certain point because you are unlikely to hear any improvement ($6,000 Cables on $500 speakers? = I'd call that QUESTIONABLE [but it's unlikely to HURT anything] Now if these were $100,000 Wilsons, connected to $20,000 or higher Amps, in an acoustically-optimized room, then MAYBE...) (Furthermore - if you got them for free or at a substantial discount; then what the heck) -Get the known TECHNICAL Stuff "right" BEFORE moving into other realms
THAT BEING SAID - - - I also believe that there ARE things / phenomenon that we cannot fully explain. In the end - let your EARS be your judge
AND IN THE END: If it makes YOU happy and it's YOUR money - you can do whatever you want

Nice set-up, I do love music! I hope you are single, you have no children, no dogs, no cats or anything that can play with those cables. Boy, would I be upset if something happened to them. I would plead justifiable homicide! Reminds me of Christmas Vacation

I don't think any were really trying to do that but I can see how some sounded. this hobby is all about personal choices. enjoy your system and appreciate all that you have for what it can do to improve your sound. keep on sharing with the forum as your system grows and changes over time. tchaik.......

Quite often on forums like this, observations and constructive criticisms are put out there....sometimes poking innocent 😇 fun while at the same time, providing answers that can educate the OPS to some slick solutions that can be hugely helpful. My suggestion....don’t cry....challenge and ask questions instead!
