Have anyone actually had ANY cable fail up to 6ft? That would be a really bad cable if so!
Above 8ft there are plenty that fail and work even with the same make and model.
Personally I wouldn’t trust any thin cable (thinner than 5-6mm) above 4.5ft (~1.5m) for full 18Gbps
bandwidth or above. For anything but the simplest transfers.
