I received the UPA-2 last night. I'll be using it to drive by surrounds in a 5.1 while the XPA-3 handles the front soundstage. First of all; Emotiva makes this too easy. I ordered it on Tuesday and was listening to it on Thursday. Packing was great and email notification from Emotiva kept me informed along the way. Outstanding customer service is equal to the quality of their product.
Watched the Hulk last night and the amps sounded great. I'm really impressed with the greater channel separation as compared to running everything off my Onkyo 806. I'm dirving Klipsch f-3s, C-2 and S-2s so volume was never an issue. I do believe I'm now getting better detail.
Ideally I would like to have the XPA-2 and -3 drive the 5.1 and the UPA-2 drive my zone 2 speakers. The problem is that everything sounds so great it's hard to justify the extra $$.
