I’m 59 and have never had a drink. Just not my thing. Never say never. How can you know? It might possibly enhance your golden years😉!

Bitburger or Kaliber. (Zero or very low alcohol beer.)(That's the point!) 30 years ago my cardiologist cut me off from any alcohol due to many years of severe heart and associated rhythm disease. However, a most beautiful Swedish actress, Alicia Vikander, came to mind when I saw the title of this thread, L iquor. That reminds me, what is the name of that famous Saloon that advertised liquor in the front and poker in the rear?

Yep 👍 NOT cutting loose with my friends (without going overboard) would be MORE dangerous than killing off a few brain 🧠 cells....though a few of them would tell you I have none to lose🤪 Bill

I'm not much of a drinker, but when I occasionally imbibe, I like rums. I'm a big fan of Appleton Estate 21 Year and Kirk and Sweeney 23 Year for sipping. Both very smooth, but complex.

After a few years of overindulgence I developed an allergic reaction to alcohol. It normally manifested itself in the form of me disappearing for a few days while I emptied my bank account at the nearest crackhouse. So the point is, with the low/no alcohol content I can enjoy a scrumptious tasting bevy while still retaining what's left of my sanity.

I love beer but lately can't tolerate the carbs. So it's mostly various distilled spirits (whisky, scotch, vodka) and red wine for me. I keep Crown Royal on hand and usually have a bottle of Johnny Walker Red and Tito's vodka in the pantry. I'll pick up a fifth of something different or exotic once an a while. All in moderation. If I have a hint of a hangover the next day, I'm doing it wrong.

For me, my go to drink on New Year's Adam is a nice Ducks Horn Merlot to go with a thick juicy rib-eye cooked on the grill (no matter the outside temperature). As for what I drink during the holidays, it's a hodge-podge. But, the best drinks are free!

Gin and tonic, preferably Bombay Sapphire w/Canada Dry on ice, and a touch of lime... ... minus the babe, of course. What are you saying, I was looking at the babe, lol....

I typically go for one or the other, not both... Okay, on second thoughts, the babe is welcome too, but she should leave my glass alone at all times

I'm not a fan of coconut in any form except maybe pried straight out of the husk. I'm not much for mixers either except with vodka - martinis and "refreshing drinks" (fresh squeezed lemon, lime, vodka, sparkling water over ice). Whiskey and Scotch, on the rocks.
