I just upgraded to a Sonos Port from the Connect I’ve had for 4 years. The Port has a built in 12v trigger that Sonos claims to be able to power on my receiver when its in standby mode. I have XMC-1 gen 2, power save is set to “video on” and trigger 1 is set to power on my amp. I’ve configured the component audio from the Port to analog 2 on the XMC and set the trigger 2 to analog 2. Boxes checked and all others unchecked. Looks like the XMC only has a trigger “out” so I assume the Port cannot power on the XMC? Or is there some work around? Thanks.

You are correct. You'd have to automate it another way e.g. a Harmony remote.
