Quite well done, sir! Thank you. ..." “name brands” that were so poorly made, they fell apart (names will remain confidential to protect the guilty)." So Boom, can/will you name them here, in this intimate setting, just for us, your close web buddies?

..." “name brands” that were so poorly made, they fell apart (names will remain confidential to protect the guilty)." So Boom, can/will you name them here, in this intimate setting, just for us, your close web buddies? Sorry , no. It wouldn't be fair for numerous reasons. The "name brand" stuff that fell apart on me is older. Maybe those companies now make more robust interconnects? Without trying them again, I have no way of knowing. Also, I'd hate to condemn a company for a single failure. OTOH, you'd hope that a company charging THAT MUCH for their interconnects would at least ensure that the product going out the door was robust enough to tolerate normal use without failure... I know better than to disconnect by yanking on the wire. I gently pull the connector housing, and if it's too tight, I gently wiggle until the connector comes loose. But it is discouraging to find that what I thought were very high quality interconnects can become intermittent.

Boom; Measurement uncertainty should be less than 30% of the target measurement value in order to have a high confidence level in the values being recorded. For sub 1 ohm measurements a 4-wire meter should be used.

Great review! I purchased some XLRs from James and love the fact that he will custom make them to length. You are not stuck with predetermined sizes. High quality cables.
