The Tekton speakers seem a bit (OK, maybe A LOT) on the BIG side. I’ll still have to check out their website - it seems that one gets a lot of speaker for the money from them. But I want to learn more about their Design Philosophy - hopefully more to it than putting A BUNCH of drivers in a big enclosure.... If I were looking at something that big - I might also be intrigued by a used set of Klipschorns or Cornwals, but I don’t think they’d fly with Wifey. (Someone in our vicinity actually had a set of Infinity IRS speakers for sale. If I had the money for REALLY HIGH-END amps, and a large, DEDICATED listening room - those would be near the top of my bucket-list speaker options)
But I think that I would want something that is more “Living Room Friendly” - maybe their more mid-size offerings I’ve always been a proponent of BALANCED, Full-Spectrum sound, that can handle wide Dynamics (play with full sound at high and low volume levels)

I’m also torn / debating the idea that since my chosen speakers have to cope with placement in corners and/or partially obscured by furniture - perhaps sticking with High-Quality smaller mains on stands (to “shoot OVER”) stuff, augmented by GOOD subs that can be a bit hidden, may be a better option
However, I am NOT locked-In to that approach (at least, not YET) I also find it difficult to justify spending that sort of money on “mere 2-way” drivers - which is what one gets in most compact designs Although I HAVE heard some awfully good 2-Way units / some 2-Way + Passive Radiator [Vandersteen, Sonus-Faber, Klipschorns Ref.] My ELACs are compact 3-Way and I believe that KEF also makes a similar design R-Series with coaxial high/mid If matched-up with one or A PAIR of GOOD to Excellent subs, might be the best “practical” solution
Or a taller / narrower tower, or one with a Flared bottom / pyramid shape - where the more directional drivers are up high enough to achieve the same effect as smaller speakers on stands, while still offering integrated / augmented Low-Frequency drivers in the lower portion. (The GoldenEar Tritons are supposedly good in this regard.)

But yes, I think the whole point of Tektons is the sheer scale of the sound. It's big and it sounds big and it doesn't give up.
