I'm not a big NFL fan, but I will be watching the game - but by myself for the first time in over 30 years. My wife is working backstage at the Lion King, my son is at Purdue, and my daughter will be at her boyfriend's. So, I'll be having peace and quiet to enjoy it. I'm planning on having a black and blue burger with bacon and olives, some oven-roasted steak fries, and a salad - and a few adult beverages. I like both teams, so I don't really care who wins. I do like Andy Reid. He seems like a good guy, so I'd like to see him get one. And, Patrick Mahomes is fun to watch. Then again - that Jimmy guy and that tight end Kittle are pretty impressive, too. So..."go....whoever!!!" Mark What's a "black and blue burger"? |

I'll watch with sound for a bit, but at some point - music is going on. And, I have my vodka and tonic sitting here awaiting kickoff. I used to like gin and tonic, but some gin is a bit toooooooo juniperry for me (like the one my wife brought home recently). So, vodka it is! Mark |

It should be a pretty good game, but I may not watch because of Joe Suck, err, Buck. I hate that guy. Man, I couldn't agree more! Although Sister Mary Holy Water taught us to never hate (except for Lutherans and Jehovah's). Joe's father Jack Buck was even worse, especially on radio football broadcasts. He would never tell you how many yards a running back gained. .......... the hand-off goes to Jones and he runs thru a hole off tackle (then silence) ........ I'm yelling at the radio. HELLO Jack, how many yards did he gain? Good grief! |

I just finished it, and it was a delight! Mark I had a girlfriend years ago who was a black belt and kick boxer (big mistake folks!). I pissed her off once and she gave me a quick kick you know where. I was down for a ten count. Ended up with a black and blue hot dog (aka wiener) for many moons! |

Halftime show with Jay Low (sp?) was simply awful! Her outfit was so ugly and not sexy. I must be an old fart!

WOW! Lots of errors on both sides (4 int's) but quite an enjoyable game. Happy for Coach Reid and the KC fans.

Very good game...and I am very happy for Andy Reid and the whole team. Andy is very deserving, and I do enjoy watching Mahomes play.

Give Tanqueray Ten a try! I do like that and Bombay Sapphire, but my wife bought something from a "boutique" distillery. I like it, but it's a bit to strong on flavor. Mark |

The wings turned out, delicious and interesting. The process was to season the wings, then STEAM them in the Instant Pot for 10 minutes, let the pressure escape naturally for 5 minutes, then manually vent and open. Those were some pale looking wings. So you give them a little sauce and put them under the broiler to crisp them up. I steamed them well but broiled them poorly. I needed to have the wings closer to the broiler element, so I will next time. And I should have elevated the wings off the cooking pan so the juices that came out would not keep them from crisping. Because I did not properly crisp the wings.
HOWEVER, man they were good. Very different than I am used to as they were, well, juicy and succulent. I am used to crisp and dryish wings. I missed the crisp, but the succulent and tender was killer. So with a couple of changes, I will try this method again. But I really enjoy the crisp, and if I cannot achieve that, it will be back to WingStop.
