Hey guys so I currently have Paradigm Monitor 11 V2 floor standing speakers, they are old speakers but still sound good. I am debating weather to change them out and buy the Klipsch RP-280F. I mainly use my speakers for watching movies, not so much music. Should I buy the Klipsch or keep my Paradigm?
Here are the specs that I could find for the Paradigm Monitor 11 V2.
Design 5-Driver, 2-1/2 way bass reflex, quasi – 3rd order resistive port; floorstading
Crossover 3rd order electro – acoustic at 2.0kHz 2nd order electro – acoustic at 600Hz (lower bass drivers)
Frequency response: On axis +- 2dB from 49Hz – 20 kHz
Frequency response: 30 off-Axis +-2dB from 49Hz – 18kHz
High Frequency response 25mm (1 in) PTD pure titanium dome and former, ferro-fluid damped cooled
Mid/Bass frequency driver: 165mm (6-1/2in) with dicast chassis, ICP injection – moulded co-polymer
Low Frequency Driver: Three 165mm (6-1/2in) mineral filled cones. Die – cast chassis
Low Frequency Extension : 36Hz (DIN)
Sensitivity: 97dB/94dB
Impedance: Compatible with 8 ohms
Suitable Amplifier power range: 15-250 watts
Maximum Input power: 180 watts
