It's certainly frustrating. 😊 I can say this though, I returned a Dewalt Bluetooth charger radio because of a manufacturer fault. I have only been contacted to let me know that I’m waiting on the manufacturer to implement a fix to the problem and ship me out one. The issue was found with this model last year! 😲 6 weeks later I still cannot get anybody to pick up the phone or return my e-mail! Automated message says that I’m a “valued customer” Ha! Emotiva answers the phone 98% of the time when I call. 98. 7% of those times I get to speak to support or whom I asked for. But yeh! It’s frustrating! Grab an oar, there seems to be plenty of us in this boat! LOLThese days, in light of COVID-19, I'll cut a business a ton of slack if they are short staffed or overly busy. This is the first time that I haven't been able to reach someone when calling Emotiva - not even an answering machine. Straight busy signal multiple times today. No big deal. I'll try again on Monday.

Wait, What? 😲 My nephew works for a company about the size of Dewalt, they are answering the phones from home. I may try the red brand next time I need a tool. 😏 Not the end of the world that’s for sure but my staff sure misses the jam! LOL TGIF

The updated June version of Emotiva’s Dirac Live 2.0 manual (version 1.1) seems to have just changes on page 14 defining what "processor" means at any given time (seeing as there are three processors involved in a Dirac filter generation!) (Emotiva Surround Sound Processor, Raspberry Pi in the DNIB and the last in the PC running the Dirac Live software)
Oh. And the Dirac Live Bass Control specifications and calibration workflow for multi sub integration of course. (Joke. We need more patience for that!) Anyone notice any other changes?

Not everything is vastly significant....
The the recent updates included changing one illustration for a better one... (it appears in two places)...
Fixing a few typos... And correcting a few other very minor errors in detail... (And, no, there will not be a prize for finding Waldo...)
And there will probably be a few more minor changes to the activation process... (we're trying to simplify that a little bit)...

Oh Dirac. Dirac...... Where art thou? The distributor here in Europe told me, it's coming late summer. So could be not weeks but months.

Hi Keith, Are you able to provide an update on the readiness of the Emotiva Dirac Live Network Interface? I believe you were waiting on packaging so they can be sent out to XMC-2 / RMC-1/L customers. Thanks, Dave. Same question here. Nick said in another thread it will be shipped to me automatically if I haven’t moved? When is the kit shipping? Thank you.

This is just a guess, but probably after the Beta Testers have given their seal of approval.

Do we have any updates from the Dirac Beta Testers? I am waiting to do my upgrade once we are shipping the units with Dirac.

Just reading some stuff on AVSFORUM on DBC. It looks like it hasn’t gone smooth and people are reporting that DBC is making their system sound worse.

So hopefully by the time they are done working thru their kinks, Emotiva will support DLBC. Even without DLBC, Dirac sounds great and based on the reports DLBC makes things sound worse. Obviously I won’t be paying $499 for theories and experiments. It needs to be proven to sound better.

Just reading some stuff on AVSFORUM on DBC. It looks like it hasn’t gone smooth and people are reporting that DBC is making their system sound worse. I had the JBL SDP-55 for a week here in my setup. I can confirm, that DLBC really sounded worse than Dirac with DLBC off. The sound was very thin with almost no bass. The JBL has DLBC for free, but considering that with other brands you have to pay almost 500 $, it's just not worth it at the moment. And Emotiva aren't the only processors with bugs. The JBL had plenty of bugs too.
