Lol. Nope, not even a radio. Thing's too freaking loud to hear anything. Besides, it adds weight. ;D

My two latest purchases: I wasn't ready to deal with all the issues of the UMC-1 and bought an Onkyo TX-NR807 instead. Works flawlessly so far. I can't tell how much I am missing out on in terms of sound quality vs. the UMC-1, but I guess I'll live in blissful ignorance until the UMC-2 upgrade bug gets to me.... Now, I know it sounds good to me, but I am curious as to how my room measures exactly. After some failed attempts with REW (couldn't find a good enough sound card and meter at a decent price over here), I just ordered up the XTZ measuring system. I don't think I'll change much stuff around based on the results (it's an apartment living room after all), but it will be interesting to see the difference in pre/post Audyssey corrections and maybe also pre/post the Antimode 8033C if I decide to get one. Edit: I did get the AntiMode 8033C this week and will be returning it - it just didn't add much in my system, and the room modes seem untamable with electronic corrections. Placement and room treatments will have to do the job. On the other hand, the XTZ Room Analyzer was a fun toy to try out - I can really see what is going on with the acoustics resulting from tweaking placement and settings. However, I never knew the readings were so dependent on the exact microphone placement - just a few inches either way can yield vastly different readings.

HA! Judd - I was just about to post my purchase but you beat me to it. I am sitting here enjoying it right now...some Hudy 14K (Hudepohl 14K for those outside Cincy).
It had been YEARS since I had that, but I was in a store today that had it, and sentiment kicked in. It is as tasty as I recall. And, as Dave Chappell says in that Sam Adams takeoff..."IT'LL GET YA' DRUNK!" Now, if I could just find some Hudy Gold...
(For those outside Cinci, if you ever heard the chant "who dey, who dey, who dey think gonna' beat those Bengals"...it's related to Hudy beer. Of course, the New Orleans fans seem to claim the "who dey" phrase...but it's really a Cinci thing...so says a Cinci guy.)

Hey, must be Saturday night! * Right now I'm drinking Cabernet Sauvignon, a red wine from Argentina (Finca Los Primos).

The 14K is tasting good...real good...hard to believe I passed it up all these years after enjoying it as a young man first experiencing Ohio.

More than one and I get a very slight buzz on (even though it claims 0.00% alcohol).

That's for people who have heart arrhythmia's and their kill-joy cardiologist that says no more alcohol or coffee. BTW, it tastes very good but without the alcohol punch/bite on the taste buds.
