Stopped by a local guitar and electronics repair place today and picked up some NOS RCA 5751 blackplate tubes.

^ Are those for your guitar's amp? ...Of course they are. * What's your amp? Guitar? What brand & gauge of strings do you use? Do you use a pick? If yes what gauge? How would you rate yourself? Sorry for the barrage of questions but I like musicians & all kind of riffs.

Sorry for the barrage of questions but I like musicians & all kind of riffs. Well I don't have an electric guitar, but I do have a Seagull cedar top with D'Addario EJ16's on it. I don't use picks and I really don't play much so I wouldn't rate myself very high. I purchased these tubes to try in my Jolida units It just so happens that the only place I can find tubes locally is at the guitar repair shop

^ Alright, cool! I play all guitars, acoustic & electrics, and use my guitar amp & pedals sometimes with my acoustic guitar. And these tubes are very similar to what I got in my guitar's amp.

Simply Grilllicious!! ;D * the handles on my grill are vertical and not horizontal like on this picture. I'll edit this later and post an actual photo of my new toy. Don't know why I didn't think of this yesterday??

Hope to get my CCW permit soon........grabbed me a new gun. I'll most likely get something a little smaller if I ever carry: I like the Sigs, I carried one for years as my service weapon. They are extremely reliable and well balanced. Personally I favor the 1911 series. I have a Kimber Tactical Entry and a Kimber Ultra Carry II with laser grip. I have my CHL (TX) and I carry the Kimber Ultra frequently. Only when we go to our country house, do I bother to strap on the Tactical Entry.

Looks so nice and works so nice. Didn't want to edit the original post, so gave it it's own little space!! ;D BTW, those cracks in the cement are because of my eD subwoofer.

Most of my recent purchases have been centered around modd'ing my 848. Akrapovic titanium slip on exhaust: Ohlins TTX shock sprung for my weight, Acculign rearsets, and Motowheels carbon fiber shorty hugger painted to match the stock black plastics: Ducati Data Analysis data logger: Not pictured. Ducati Performance neoprene racing seat. And loosely fitting this category, my recent trip to the 2 day California Superbike School:

Looks great Animo! I am not sure what we would do without our grill and it is active all year round. I was all set to grill on Memorial day when I looked at the old grill and realized it had deteriorated due to neglect. That won't happen with this one. I've already used this one more than I used my old one last year.

How well do get along with the different trigger pulls of a DA and SA 1911?

My newest toy. 2010 Ford Mustang GT Nice Vince. My daughter wants a mustang badly. I had an 84 GT in the early 90s. That was a fun car. BTW. I got my tracking info today. I sure do appreciate all the help.

Glad you like them. I also have a Springfield XDM, but I don't carry that one. It is just a range gun.. cheaper ammo. When I first started off in the military, at 18, the first weapon I carried was a Colt 1911, so I am really comfortable with the SA 1911. I carry locked and loaded. It is just a matter of clearing the holster, a flick of the thumb and you are ready to drop the hammer. Between the thumb safety and the palm safety, I am comfortable carrying that way.

I think I just about have everything set........I use my iPad with Pandora, connected via a MiFi, listening via Jabra Halo bluetooth headphones. So far it works quite well in my cubicle world at work.

My newest purchase will be a new basement! Even though I just payed $35,000 to have ours remodeled, our basement flooded from these crazy rains we had, over a few days. And the kicker is where I live, you can't buy flood insurance. $35,000 down the crapper and another 25K or so to get it back to what it was Thank god I was home when it was flooding and got all my gear out of the HT. Urgh, no HT for a few months at least. Good times in Winnipeg lol
