Mounting plate for the Fast Fire Red Optic finally came in! Mounted the Burris optic and can't wait to get to the range to sight in the new sight. Just an update. Sighted in my new sight and was able to surgically land four rounds within a quarter....... from 25 meters. I'll never go back to stock non optical sights again.

Don't tell my wife. She's on a kick of buying all sorts of LED lights lately. I'll admit some are useful, but I foresee a huge expense in batteries coming up. Mark Well now when I went to check on my order, it is still in Costco, unshipped, but doing a search for this product comes up empty - Costco says the product is not found. Mark do you know someone at Costco who pulled some strings to remove these lights so your wife couldn't order them???

I'll have to look into those small lights, they look like they'd be handy to have around. About 5-6 years ago I learned the value of keeping a small portable light handy in case of power outage. I had a blind rat terrier (RIP Milo) at the time who was quite the expert at navigating the entire house in the dark. I'm a rookie! The power went out on a moonless evening and I had no emergency lights at hand. It felt like an eternity finding that small flashlight I'd kept in a kitchen drawer for many years for just such an occasion. Talk about darker than a welldigger's ---!!! I think it took me 4-5 minutes to stumble my way to the kitchen, groping and bumping into a chair or two, and the dog a couple of times, before I had the presence of mind to tell him to go lay down, which he obediently did! Good dog! I didn't want to hurt him or me by tripping on him. I keep two small LED flashlights close at all times these days. I probably own 6-8 small LED lights. I keep getting the 'gift of light' for xmas.

My order is open and hasn't been canceled so I am assuming they will send it to me. This happened with something else I recently purchased. It sold out so the product page disappeared but I received my item. I figure these little stick-on lights will come in handy. Like you said in your earlier post, sure helps out instead of having to stumble around in the dark. Amazon is selling them for $9.40/six pack and Costco had them for $19.99 for 3 six packs.

That's great as long as you're with someone. If you're alone then either shine the light into the bears eyes or run like crazy.

Need a cheap but good headphones. People yack about Grados. Those hurt my head and ears. Sound is okay. So I jumped ship to the Philips SHP9500. Less than a hundred and you are done. About 75.00 or so really. Popular at work headphones too. When Plantronics and Logitech suck. There are these that are better and more versatile.

This MXL microphone along with the shockmount, plastic foam lined case and plosive filter bought separately, less than a $100.00 bucks for all. My full kit for back to the office for about $300.00 also including boom arm that clamps to the desk. This is getting it done for much cheaper, and sounding better. My Focusrite Solo, the Philips SHP9500 headphones, and Mogami Mic cable, my office setup sounds way better than what comes out of the crap laptop sound ever could. I may put together your must haves for great out of office sound or even in the office sound. No one should go without.

I was going to post pictures. But dammit I'm just too lazy!
So may latest purchase:
Emotiva T2's - December 2019 (little behind here) XMC-1 (refurbished) Jumped on this the last time they came back for sale. Missed out the previous 2 times XPA-5 Gen 3 Arrived yesterday. 2 day shipping from Emotiva to Alberta Canada, not bad at all!
I guess you could say I jumped on the Emo band wagon! In all honesty after checking out the Emotiva history on the website, I have actually been a fan since basically their inception. Didn't know it at the time. But I have been following since the beginning. Just never had the extra cash to get started in on the hobby, Even if some of the pieces are, "last years best models".
So now, I have set up the system, sort of, still working my way through the setup (and the 105 page manual) for the XMC-1 but have already found that My Klipsch center channel and my (unknown brand) sub are both inadequate. But I think those will have to wait until next year, these purchases and repairs on the house from the hailstorm that rolled through here last month have devastated the finances (Corona virus has actually made my company busier, an oddity in this day and age for sure).
For now though I will kick back with a big smile on my face, play with all these settings to my hearts content, and annoy my neighbors a little bit too I imagine.
Take care all!!

New addition to the family. S&W M&P9 2.0 with threaded barrel. Seems to be a national ammo shortage? Can hardly find any 9mm ammo at this time. Comes w/ two 17 round mags but 34 round mags are available. Lots of options and many could of been ordered from S&W on this particular gun. I like it when companies offer manufacturer customization. That's what I particularly like about the Remington 700 bolt action/ rifle too which is next on the list..... From left to right. Mini flashlight extender, flashlight extender, and solvent trap.
