I’ll be quite interested to hear your results. Like clock work I wax my car with Meguiar’s Gold Class carnauba plus premium liquid wax. I try to time it right before Florida’s two “love bug” seasons that begin in April and September. You Floridians know what love bugs are. Anyhow, just curious how long ceramics last and will protect against the acidic nature of love bugs. Haven't had the time to work on the car and as luck would have it, mother nature is putting a slight delay on my plans. We're 45mins south of Tampa, so we should have a pretty good view of the eye if the models are correct. I'm also watching "Ian" quite closely. The track is an average of all of the models that the National Hurricane Center uses. Historically the most accurate models have been the GFS and Euro models, and right now the GFS has "Ian" coming up in the Big Area where I live, so I'm now in Hurricane mode until I see otherwise. Anyhow now is the time to have already been prepared, but as Floridians I already know that you most likely are. Good luck to you, Hemster and others that live in the Bay area.

View AttachmentView AttachmentCool it! Term told to as a kid or something was going to be warmed. But, today we have the AC Infinity cooling fans or blowers to keep the Emotiva BAS-X A2 x 2 and the Parasound 2125 cool. Great construction ball bearing fans 19dba of noise so really quiet. Looking to keep these amplifiers for a long time. Interested in the cabinet fan as I'm looking to monitor and when needed, cool down my network gear in our laundry closet. AC Infinity has a system specific for closets, but I'm curious how your cabinet fan works out for ya. I don't have a cabinet, just looking to pull the hot out from the front for the Parasound, and hot air out of the sides of the Emotiva's stacked in my Sanus rack which is open all around, need to keep the trapped hot air from collecting. Usually on a cabinet layout, you have an intake fan and exhaust fan to evacuate the hot air.I would love to use the same solution for the Emotiva, but the clearance is not enough. I need 1.5 inches of clearance above.

Just went out before the sold out Florida State/Boston College football game to get non-Ethanol gas for my inverter generator to take advantage of 80,000 fans not panic buying gas. It was busier than usual but didn't have to wait but a minute or two to get 15gal and top off my car. Now I'm prepared and can avoid the lines, just in case.

Well I'll be damned... My 2 y/o iPhone 12 Pro wouldn't boot this morning. Went to AT&T to see of they could figure it out. Nope... Just came home with a new iPhone 14 PRO. $1100.00? I must be a sucker... My wife’s never been happy with her 12 mini and went for a 14, arrived last night. I heard someone call the 12 the “Windows ME” of iPhones. 🙂 Well, there's more to this story and I'll try to keep it brief. So after I brought my new phone home, I had a few friends over for dinner and explained what happened. One of my friends asked to see the dead 12 PRO. After a few attempts to revive it, he gave up. Oh, well... Had it been working, it would have been worth $1000 as a trade-in with AT&T's special promotion. After dinner, he asked to see it again. Guess what? Yeah, he got the damn thing to boot! He said, it was the "Scotty Boot" method. (Yeah, he's Scott). Anyway, I figured I could sell it on EBAY or something, but Scott suggested I call AT&T to see if they would honor the trade-in after the fact. Well son-of-a-gun, they said to bring it in and I received $1000 in trade. Funny thing, I only paid $800 for my 12 PRO new! Pretty sweet deal I'm thinking.

That’s great, the trade in deals have been very good of late, I traded in my X for the 13pro and iPad Pro for M1 Pro last year, and she traded the 12 mini for the 14, though Verizon only giving $800, still a good deal.

Just about everyone uses a 3.5mm mono for trigger. Not Parasound. 2.5mm for those guys. Geez.

For the amount of tree work I do around the property, the thought of cursing 🤬 and screaming 🙀 whilst trying to fire up my old craftsman gas chainsaw again was more than I could bare. Milwaukee to the rescue 🛟!! Already I own the M18 charge packs for their impact wrench so only the “bare tool” was needed. 16” bar. View Attachment…Follow up on the purchase of this Milwaukee lithium ion chainsaw. The machine goes well beyond a Joe homeowner saw, and I finished my project in a phenomenally short period of time. Words can’t express the value in having a chainsaw that’s “running all the time“ by virtue of the lithium ion technology, most of the time, the thought of trying to get my old machine running from cold, would stop me from getting to the task until the last minute…one more little job when all the leaves are done… After that, I may not use the thing again for years!

So the scenario in your first question isn't possible.

Either the Vendor or Amazon got my order borked and never delivered. Fortunately Emotiva provides a 3.5mm male to male cable for triggering. Well got the Monoprice 2.5mm adapter from Amazon. 1 more chance to get it right Amazon. Most likely the flakey vendor that Amazon dealt with. Also my Anthem AVM-30 Preamplifier Processor is back in the fray. Denon is going no where. Just miss having my Anthem doing its thing. Forgot how good this sounds.

Logitech K400 Plus Wireless Keyboard. Going to "recycle" my wife's old compact minitower computer and use it as a HTPC. Just need to install Linux Mint on it to Dual Boot with Windows and I am good to go.

Behringer stuff is awesome. Bought one of these babies a little while back. Can use it for my electronic kit and acoustic kit, plus it feeds my Porter and Davies BC, has 3 x ethernet/ultranet ports, can control it with an iPad and it's been around since 2014. Still remains the best value for money 32ch digital mixer/interface on the planet!
