I just ordered this today for my office. I'm hoping they ship it today in which case it should be here Friday, but Jon Lane said it will most likely ship tomorrow in which case there is finally something to look forward to about a Monday.. And your gonna hook em up with $1500.00 cables, right? ;D

More seriously - the volume control on a cable would be much nicer, you might want the sub on the floor or at the back of the desk or whatever. Maybe you can mod it.

If you're referring to my post with those Swans M10's - from what I've read, the sub is supposed to go on the desk with the left and rights and not be placed on the floor. That seems to go along with forum comments where people who have put them on the floor say they can't really hear the sub, but on the desk they do a good job. I figure if it is on the desk then the volume control location is okay. I'll post a review next week! (they are supposed to ship out today.. two days to get here).

I suppose it means the sub unit needs to sit pretty close you - well within arms length anyway. I find I tend to not have enough desk area as it is without putting a sub there. I have my Monitor Audio ASW100 under the desk anyway and a pair of ERM-6.2s on the window sill so I'm all set anyway - and I suppose you can just leave the volume knob near max and use the computer's volume control instead.

Are you using it with a PC if so I guess the sub would go under the monitor then right?

That might be a tight fit and/or raise it too high depending on the stand.

Right but if it`s like my desk that`s about the only place I could put it if not the floor

Right but if it`s like my desk that`s about the only place I could put it if not the floor My desk is usually a big mess. The subwoofer will do double duty as a paperweight. ;D I just need to figure out where to put all those Dakiom stabilizers.
