Does anybody have experience with this device? What are your thoughts and criticisms if any. Looking for a device for the Mrs. Like to make it easier to use her system. Harmony remote is good but if she runs into any problems I find that I have a Problem! LOL

Depends on which TV model you have and the version of firmware on XMC-2 mine is v1.9 and then which apps or channels you want to stream with.
For instance CBSAll access no longer gives you Dolby digital 5.1 only 2.0 if your using version 1.9 on the XMC-2.
I have the LG 55sk9000pua TV, can not get HDMI ARC or CEC to work but no problem if you connect the Cube to the XMC-2 input directly.
The Fire Cube does seem to control the TV(On/Off) if you setup CEC for the TV on it(Cube) and TV and turn off CEC on XMC-2.
Hope this helps.

Works good in my bedroom system. "Alexa, turn on bedroom tv" command turns on tv, Emo pre-pro, directv box and 7 channel amp is turned on by pre-pro trigger. System can't be too complicated however. "Alexa turn off" works too and I welcome it from the bed when I want to go to sleep.
