Hi all, do these make a difference, not in sound but would it likely avoid ground loop hum?

They DO cancel noise (if connected to the chassis at both ends), but I'm not sure about ground loops... I've got a device kind of like this that I'm not using. PM me your address and I'll give you it.

I switched my RCA cables that I was using to connect my XPA-5 to XMC-1 several months ago to XLR cables. I can't say I heard a major improvement with the change.
Overall I believe the change did improve the overall audio experience. Just don't think I can substantiate the actual improvement in recorded results. Basically I found that the overall audio experience does sound better especially when listening in the surround setting.
The additional benefit gained was simplifying behind the scenes cable management. The overall cable visual was more organized and easier to understand.
BTW I upgraded my cables by purchasing directly from Emotiva, the XLR 5-Channel setup. Which Emotiva has been offering at a great discounted price delivered.
Good luck and enjoy your experience.

Hi all, do these make a difference, not in sound but would it likely avoid ground loop hum? Understanding ground loops is fundamental in solving the problem and reducing or eliminating hum: youtu.be/PACur_GcTJ0Better to study than throwing money needlessly at wires that don’t “work” the problem.
