I just picked up an A-5175 and need to add it into the mix. I only have so much room on the shelf. How much room do I need to leave above the amp? I'll have about 6 inches on both the left and right side and 5" behind it, but only about 2" on top. Above it will be my center channel on a floating shelf. I can't go any higher than 2" or it interferes with my TV. Wanted to know if this would work fine or if I need to try to come up with something else.
Thanks

That sounds like it should be fine Mark Thanks, I thought it would be too, but wanted some reassurance... I hope to get it all setup by the weekend. Can't wait!

Yes that is fine. As long as the heat has somewhere to go, you are golden.

I’ve got less than that with mine and it’s not a problem. The amp barely gets warm. It surprised me how cool it actually runs.
