Some higher end blu ray payers feature separate audio-only hdmi outputs. These outputs are supposed to have reduced jitter, at least for the Oppo 205 and Panasonic UB9000. How can someone use these with the RMC-1 while still running video through the RMC? It seems that the RMC will not allow a separate audio source when using a particular HDMI for video. I do not want to run video straight to the display bypassing the RMC. I want to maintain the RMC's OSD.

You are correct, it's not possible, I believe HDCP is the reason and I don't think any processor can do it. But, you could run the second Oppo HDMI output to a different input on the RMC/XMC for use with music where you might get some benefit from the potential reduced jitter.

More specifically....
You CAN use a different audio source with an HDMI video source on the RMC-1.... but it must be some other type... it cannot be a different HDMI input. (For example, you can assign an HDMI videoinput to use a different Coax or Optical input.)
However the RMC-1 can only process/accept a single HDMI source at a given time.
But, yes, connecting two HDMI cables, from the same source, to the same destination, can also cause HDCP issues....
