So I ordered another PA-1 a year after getting 2 others. The new one did not come with the unbalanced interconnect adapter like the 2 from last year did  . What's up with that Emotiva? Guess my downstairs center channel will have to wait until I can find one. Wonder if Best Buy has them?? At the end of the day, you'd think Emo would include this for those of us that don't have a balanced connection. Well the anticipation and excitement is over for tonight's fun, kinda like my prom date was back in 83.......luckily I have beer & whiskey. |

I believe they do include it . Perhaps it was a slip up. Just contact them and likely they will ship it to ya.

Just remember that the jack part will probably induce noise, either yank the ground out of the supplied cord (yikes) or put in an adapter. Though I’m using balanced, I did try it unbalanced and this fix was needed. Let us know what you think of the amps.

Forgot to mention I also went for a stereo pair first, then added center, as I wanted same amp tech on front stage. I didn’t look back, let’s hear from you when it’s sorted.

My three PA-1s came with the adapter, and I bought them three weeks ago. May have just been a packing error on Emotiva’s part on yours. But double check your box, they ar e fairly small and maybe you missed it 🤷🏻♂️

Aggghhh you must have got the 2nd to last PA-1. I've been mulling around here and the interweb looking at reviews for the past 2 weeks and I finally pull the trigger on buying 2 only to find out there was only 1 left in stock!

But double check your box, they ar e fairly small and maybe you missed it 🤷🏻♂️ Box searched like NCIS......plus I bought 2 PA-1's last year around this time and the adapter was in a little bag. As to having a ground issue as another person mentions, I've run the 2 PA-1's both balanced and unbalanced......didn't really notice any difference, currently have them running on unbalanced cables to my XSP-1 while my XPA-2 is taking up the balanced spot on the XSP-1 |

Mind passing the item number you ordered from monoprice?? This has not gone the wat I hoped, day 2 with no downstairs system....with a weekend coming up

That sux, and I just ordered the last one. Hopefully it's a one off, I was contemplating grabbing 3 for the LCR. At least shipping will be cheap due to weight. |

Chad I can try that.....but, why would this one do it. My other 2 PA-1's are dead silent. It's clean power going into a CMX-6 power strip / conditioner thingy. Emo is already sending me the return label thing and after talking with 2 different tech support dudes they agree to send it back.....not one of them mentioned the destruction of a power cable??
