What unit? And generally, no, Phono inputs are for Phono only as they have an equalization curve applied to them, as well as having different input sensitivity. The curve is known RIAA Equalization << clickable link |

The only thing you can plug in to a phono input and have it sound ‘normal’ is a turntable, typically with a moving magnet phono cartridge. If you have a turntable, but don’t have a phono input, you can add a phono preamp to any ‘line level’ input (aux, analog, line, etc). It appears the 4520 has a phono input, so what do you want to do with it? You CAN plug a turntable in, but not Bluetooth. Edit: With all of these inputs you can’t find something besides phono to use?  |

A dedicated “phono” input already has a phono preamp in the signal path, so you don’t add another. If you don’t have a turntable (and never plan to), you might as well put some duct tape over that input and forget that it exists. You can’t use it for anything else... 😉 |

Hey, what about the 7.1 input, can I use the left and right input on those.... |

Yup, the 7.1 input can be used for the BT receiver.

I assume you have the unit I pictured above, look in the center where it says "Audio", there are a bunch of 'pre-labled' inputs like CD, DVD, etc. they are all stereo line inputs and will work. |

Wow - using 6 RCA stereo inputs? I don't suppose one of the things you are inputting to the Denon has its own RCA input and a passthrough...if so...use that. What are the 6 devices you are inputting?

Mark cd to cd input, cassette to dvd input, bluetooth to media player, remember, the others were assignable, already using hdmi, bluray to blueray, apple TV to game, satellite to satellite, those were either analog or hdmi... |

Bill That's what I was thinking, will probably do it with the dvd input, which is being used for the cassette, which I don't listen to often, and it will share the bluetooth, which I don't listen to much in the basement either... |

Th cd player does, but I like the analog connection better...I can always try the Emotiva bluetooth with the digital connection but will see... |

Mark Forget it, I have to choose in the menu which input to use, I won't be doing it every time.....I think I will get splitters for the dvd input and plug both the bluetooth and cassette....then use the media input/output to plug the cd recorder I'm getting soon... |
