Hi all,
Looking to power 2 x rear surrounds (Dynaudio Audience 42) which are 4ohm and 2 x two ceiling speakers for atmos (8ohm Yamaha).
Initially I thought it would be more logical to go for an A-500 but the reviews are mixed on this unit and it has 2 internal fans which I'm not a 'fan' of.
As an alternative what about 2 x A-150's? I have not read a single bad review about them and they have no internal fans and will be powerful enough for this duty.
Thoughts?

Either way I'm thinking you will be just fine, I've powered my entire system off at one time a UPA-500 and later a A-500 and it did a totally fine job, powering 4 surrounds the A-500 will easily be up to the task.

Chad Seems people who had a UPA-500 and later bought a A-500 are regretting it. I'm just concerned about the bad reviews its been getting. People reporting a loud hum from the fans.

Any of the Emotiva amps I've owned with the fans have never came on that I noticed, the A-500, A-100 and UPA-200.
