Keith,
I have read and followed your instructions as best I can. I’ve listened to all the videos and read the manuals and was doing great. Until I get to the measurement step. No matter how I adjust the mike, made sure no a/c or any noise whatsoever, I can’t get past the low signal-to-noise level error.
Please, any thoughts or suggestions? At a loss right now.

Tried increasing the master volume on the app?

I linked this method in the Dirac thread 2nd post, it’s a little more systematic than the others, did you try it? mehlau.net/audio/dirac-live-2-mic-speaker-levels/

I’ll be trying this tomorrow when the house is empty and cold! I’ve run Dirac a couple of times but I’ve yet to get a good reading from each point. Hope somebody is here to help me when I give it another go. Peace! ✌️

I have done all of the mic gain adjustments, speaker adjustments, master volume and even adjusted the Mac’s microphone volume In hopes that would solve my issue. I have an SPL meter and it was registering below -26-30db so it was really quiet in the room. All the measurements looked great but I still got the error. I noticed that my emm-1 microphone is PnP and not the mic mentioned in the Emotiva video. Maybe the calibration file I downloaded isn’t a match? I don’t know. I may try on a Windows machine. My MacBook Air is pretty old but it works.

Also, please provide your speaker setup, all the channels that are active and what they are set to - especially the subwoofers.

Will do. I'll go hook everything back up and take some screen shots. I've got a 7.3.4 setup. Fronts are set to Large, all others set to small. 3 subwoofers. 2 Martin Logan Balanced Forcee 210's and a Velodyne DD15. Measurements didn't clip for the subwoofers but received this error:

I will go setup and send additional screen shots soon.

Not sure if you can see the screen shot I took and if the lounge allows for screen shots No, can't see it. I don't remember when new members are allowed to post images - after a certain number of posts, but the way it works is you need to Add Attachment which is located in the top right corner of the Create Post window. edit: By the way, really nice ML subs! And I just noticed your sig, a fellow S-1500 owner!

I can't locate the create post window. I'll keep looking. This is a screenshot of what it looks like when you Reply to a post. See the upper right corner for Add Attachment. You will look for files on your computer to insert. So you won't need to upload anything, it simply pulls the files you choose from your computer.

Do you have your Left/Right Subs set to Dual Mono or Mono? Also, reduce the Mic Level and increase the Master Volume level by a lot. edit: The volume level during measurements needs to be substantially louder than the room ambient sound level. Here is a screen shot of mine: The Mic level is at 75% which allows the Master Volume to be much higher.

Did that work? Can you see them? I exported as pdf Yes. But I export to jpg and reduce the Size and Quality so the file size is smaller. jpg will allow it to be seen as a thumbnail, whereas a pdf forces the files to be downloaded to be viewable.

Dual mono. I'll make the adjustments and redo it later today. Got too much noise going on in the house right now. Thanks for all your help.
